THE L&D FESTIVAL IN THE METAVERSE 2026

The L&D Festival is an online event - but it’s not another standard Zoom-style conference. It’s hosted in the Metaverse, which means you’ll explore a digital “world” (kind of like an interactive website) across the 3 Festival days.

Ticket-holders will access the Festival through a URL link in their web browser.

All you need is:

• A laptop
• An internet connection

Once you enter the Festival world, you’ll:

• Choose an avatar (a little character from a few preset options)
• Move your avatar around freely using your mouse or arrow keys
• Pop into sessions as you like, and interact with objects by clicking on them or moving your avatar near them

No - that's why all ticket-holders receive post-event resources and insider L&D info, whether you attend the Festival in real-time or not.

During the 3 days, you're free to come and go from the Festival world, and explore it at your own pace.

That might look like:

• Attending as many sessions from our jam-packed program as you wish
• Exploring resources and watching videos
• Visiting sponsor booths
• Discovering hidden goodies, activities, winning prizes, and more

Nope. You can come and go whenever you like during the Festival days. Just jump back in using the URL whenever it suits you during Festival hours across the 3 days. 

Yes. You can use your camera and microphone to interact with others - similar to an online meeting - when you want to.

No - the Festival runs in your web browser, so there shouldn't be anything special to install.

Yes. All ticket holders receive a step-by-step instruction video that walks you through exactly how to access the Festival, choose your avatar, move around, and join sessions.

Before the Festival begins, all ticket holders will receive the full Festival program, including session times, so you can plan ahead.
